Here's a brief timeline of Nathan's musical journey so far. Check back soon for a full biography.
September 2006
Born to Dance. After getting a top lawyer behind them and months & months of negotiations, Cr2 pulls out of the deal on 'Falling' & 'Dream Of' at the last minute, much to the dissapointment of Nathan & Ben.
All is not lost however as even better things await just around the corner.
A month after the Radio 1 airing of 'Definition' Born to Dance make an offer and the deal is signed and sealed within just a couple of weeks. Finally the boys have their first ever record deal! This is the day they had been waiting for and dreaming about all their lives. |
August 2006
BBC Radio 1. The boys enjoy a well earned break and take a holiday down in Newquay. They meet up with the Stereo Mutants who reside in the area and also hook up with Nathan's good friend Jon (who originally hooked the Tastemakers up with the Stereo Mutants). They hear 'Falling' played in a club for the first time... it feels awesome.
Later in the month and both away in their respective family homes (Jersey and Cambridge), Nathan and Ben get the opportunity of a lifetime. BBC Radio 1's Fergie has picked up a new track of theirs called 'Definition', it is still unsigned but Fergie plays it as his unsigned track of the week (26th August)... the expectation rises. |
