Tastemakers on Fergie's Radio 1 Show
27th August 2006: Well its been busy busy
busy in Nathan C world over the last few months, apologies for the
lack of updates but this will certainly be a big one to make up for
the lack of smaller ones.
So, we finally decided on the name of Tastemakers,
back in May, which is the production partnership between myself and
Ben Preston. We've been producing a range of styles of House music
under this name and have since secured a record deal with Cr2
Records (who have signed our first two tracks 'Dream Of' and
'Falling'), remixed for Data (Carnival - Not Over Yet - out in October),
in the process of securing a big publishing deal and have
now also had our track played across the world, live, on BBC Radio
1!
Our track, Definition, has been selected this week
as Fergie's unsigned
track of the week and was played last night along with an interview
with myself on Radio 1. Don't worry, however,
if you missed it, I recorded it right
here just for you guys! The local newspaper in Jersey reported
on this last week too. They ran a half page article about it on page
3 with a nice big pic of me! Check it out here.
So far, its been a pretty awesome summer (despite
the weather being pretty lame during August) and have been home in
Jersey for the last couple of weeks, working full-time mind you.
I'll be travelling back to the UK this Friday for my gig at the Brixton
Mass
for VogueFM the
following day. Myself and Dex are going to be doing an hour long
House set back-to-back, so if you're in London next Saturday, come
down for the party – its gonna be a big one.
The week after that
it'll be back to college for my final year of my degree course
and am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things,
progressing further with the music and recording some more of HouseCAST!
We've got some awesome new material in the
pipeline that will be available very soon and so, as always, I'll
keep you all updated as best I can.
Well, I think that's all for today... until next
time... |
